Childish Games
*sigh* I thought we were all grown ups. Guess not. Crystal deleted my forum account on Advent a day or two ago, and “time deleted” Ginos character that he had played within the last couple weeks. Its sad to me. Advent was (and still could be) and great and wonderful game, but this… childish behavior is slightly off-putting. “You’re playing another game! AND STAFF! OMG GET OUT!” Thats fine if thats how they want to run that game, I guess then its just really not the game for me. I understand that people want to play multiple different kinds of games. Illindir is a billion times different from Advent. We aren’t even running the same codebase. Its sad, but I’ll get over it. I refuse to become one of those people that takes everything personally. Honestly, part of me is glad. I got treated pretty poorly as a builder on Advent anyway, and to be honest, the game is going no where. They are exactly where they were building wise as they were quite sometime ago. In fact, the only area that was added to the game was built single-handedly by me. Alas, I shall not weep! I shall look forward and enjoy my Head Builder position on Illindir! I’ve gotten more done in week over there than I got assigned on Advent the years I was there. I’m a mover and a shaker, what can I say.
In other news!
Christmas was good and bad. The bad part was my poor hubby got a toothe ache and had to got home for a bit. Otherwise, the food was pretty tasty and we got a lot of really lovely things, including a vaccumm specially made for people with pets. Yay! We got a few other nic nacs that were really cool too. I was happies!
AND AND AND… I got an interview on Monday. Hurray! I really could use a new job. Monies will be nice. We are going to be very careful and save, and if we do a good job about it, we’ll splurge a bit at Otakon next year!
SHAZAM!
OMG so exited! I am done with the harder part of my finals (well, the ones you have to sit and write for an hour and a half at least). I got my paper in Eng. Drama back and got a B! Yay for a B! I got my Milton paper back… 91%!! I got an A! AND I got a 94% on my recitation of the first 26 lines of Paradise Lost. Woohoo! Now I just have my Acting 2 final. I can totally do this. SHAZAM!
I love my Gino. Hes been so sweet this semester. They destroyed one of the parking lots and it would have been a LONG walk to classes, so hes been driving me and picking me up all semester. Hes such a wonderful guy <3. I want to get him something special, so if anyone out there is reading this and has a copy of Suikoden 2 for the original Playstation they want to sell (or knows a store that has it) I will so buy it from you! Dooooo it… look for it for me.
Anyway, Illinidir is going uber great and I am having a lot of fun! I am still learning how to use some of the stuff, but I am so excited about it! Woohoo!
I am also really excited that my friend Ashley is coming to visit… she needs to be here… RIGHT NOW! There is much anime to be watched… yuuuusssss.

Hurray! Lastnight I got named the Head Builder on Illindir! I am so super excited! *happy dance!*
On other, not as happy news, I think my baby Jasmine may have to have another surgery… her belly is slightly swollen at the incision and the vet wants to see her again in a couple weeks to check it out.. he said if it keeps swelling, bring her in sooner. I love my little kitty and I don’t want anything to be wrong with my little angel. Pino was fine the first day we brought her home, but Jasmine seemed to have a little bit of a harder time with it. Poor thing.
Other than that I am so super excited that this semester is sooo almost over. Just three finals and I am DONE. Milton on Tuesday, I think English Drama on Wednesday and Acting on Thursday. I am in the home stretch of this BA. I want it…
Yay Dead Day!
OMG classes are OVER. Just finals next week and I am so beyond finished with classes its not even funny. *Happy Dance!* I am so ready to be DONE with school this year. Only one more semester left… one more. Then I will have a BA and feel important/educated. I do now, but at least then I’ll have proof.
I need to find a job soon. I’ve had fun kinda piddling around the house, but now, money is desired. I’ll have to start applying at some other places and see what kind of jobs I can find. I may just go ahead and apply at Blockbuster. It was mainly the money/management that I couldn’t STAND at Movie Gallery. That and working alone ALL THE TIME. I am sure I’ll figure out something, but I still refuse to work with food. Ever.
Well hopefully with the extra time we have, Casey will be able to hang out some ;-;. Working at Target has its drawbacks… like having to work a LOT during the holidays because people are out of their minds during Christmas.
